Thomas Edison started us down a very scary path. Granted, someone else would have come along in his place, and no doubt, the same electrified fate would have us in the grip of Outlook, Appleshare, and IBM. Electra, as Greek myth has it, spent too much time brooding and eventually killed her mother. Perhaps all of us Internet wanderers should take note, or at least our mothers should. Too much time in an electric landscape could be hazardous to one's sanity, to which any editor may attest. The Libertas Electric Crew, however, has successfully braved photons and electrons, the light speeds and unidentified buzzes, and emerged triumphantly brandishing the glowing trophy: the Web Page! Speaking for those of us still tied to pen and paper, confused by the interconnections and http's, whose sanity is severely challenged by hours in front of a glowing blue, I offer my amazement. Speaking as a co-editor, I offer my gratitude: our electric birth has enabled Libertas' international debut and given our old school publication a savvy new cosmopolitan side to its personality. Speaking as a Mother, we print people are wary of our offspring, But we love you all the same.
