My areas of teaching interest and research include contemporary French and Francophone literature, educational studies, film studies, gender studies, postcolonial theory and psychology.
I have taught multiple French language, literature and culture classes at the University of Chicago, as well as in France and French Guiana.
In my current book project, Représentation de la folie dans la littérature caraïbo-guyanaise, I investigate how socio-historical factors in the French colonies and beyond shape the representation of figures of madness in contemporary Caribbean fictions.
