"I don't want the younger generations in Tunisia to go to a class where they feel afraid of teachers or where they go out of fear and not out of love of learning. I want teachers to feel empowered and enjoy their role in society, which would eventually affect students positively."
Major: Computer Science (educational studies minor)
- Received a $2,000 grant to pilot online teacher training content across Tunisia
- Spent a week in a Buddhist monastery with the Chaplain's office
- Is a Chidsey Leadership fellow
- Holds leadership roles in multiple student organizations, including president of North Africa Student Association and vice president of the Davidson Student Association.
