The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement (AFE) encourages alumni to stay connected and support one another as we face the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Out of an abundance of caution and with care and concern for the Davidson College community on campus and across the country, the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement has no plans to host, sponsor, or promote any in-person events of any size or in any location for the foreseeable future. We will continually assess the risk associated with in-person events and update this policy as necessary.

We hope this collection of resources will serve as a source of connection, information and entertainment as we all practice physical distancing during this difficult time.

The AFE team is currently working remotely and we’d love to hear from you, so please be in touch.

Social Justice & Advocacy Industry Network Night
Sponsored by the Center for Career Development

Thanks to the generous support of Steven Shores ‘94, the Center for Career Development is excited to kick off a newly designed initiative to promote student-professional networking. The intent of this program is to host industry-specific student-to-professional networking events. These events will allow for a greater variety of industry-specific programming throughout the year, more focused industry connections for students as well as alumni, and practical networking experiences for students.

This particular program will focus on social justice & advocacy. Students and alumni are invited to attend. We will begin with a 30 minute panel discussion with professionals working in various social justice and advocacy roles and organizations and conclude with 30 minutes of practical networking.
