I am a senior history major and potentially a Hispanic studies minor. On campus, I am the president of Queers and Allies, one of the groups for LGBTQ+ students and staff and their allies. I volunteer as a tutor in the afterschool program of the Ada Jenkins Center, and this fall I will be a Fellow for the Humanities program. I am also a member of the club Ultimate Frisbee team and of Turner House, one of the four eating houses. Last fall I studied abroad in Valparaíso, Chile, living with a host family and working on my Spanish. This summer, I am continuing my work as a tutor with Ada Jenkins, as well as working (remotely) as an assistant teacher for the Rosedale Freedom Project in Rosedale, MS.

I am a rising junior sociology major and Hispanic studies minor. On campus, I’m a tour guide, I volunteer weekly to teach Spanish to third graders at the local elementary school, and I’m a co-head of the new @humansofdavidsoncollege Instagram page. Additionally, I take vocal lessons and was involved in the musical my first year. I’m also a member of Warner Hall Eating House and a trained facilitator through the Deliberative Citizenship Initiative. This summer, I’m completing a remote internship with Active Minds, a DC-based nonprofit that supports mental health awareness, advocacy, and education for high school and college students. With the support of a Davidson grant, I’m also working with a team of students to reimagine the SiDES (Spanish in Davidson Elementary School) program for this upcoming fall and to create resources for volunteers. I’d love to share my study space tips and dining hall hacks with you all and answer any other questions you may have!

I am a first-generation junior majoring in communications and Latin American studies. I am also probably the first Nebraskan you’ve met! On campus I am involved in choir, a cappella, Questbridge, OLAS, and Q & A! I became a brother of Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity, Inc. this past spring! I also am a collaborator of the Davidson Microaggressions Project that helps expose microaggressions that occur on campus in order to foster dialogues towards a more inclusive campus.

I’m a rising junior with a major in biology and a minor in music on the premedicine track. Outside of academics, I’m the Vice President of the Davidson College Chorale, the Music Director of the Nuances (1 of our 2 co-ed acapella groups!), and an Orientation Team Leader. I’m also a member of the Premedicine Society and work as an upperclassman adviser. If I’m not in rehearsal, you can probably find me at Nummit or the Pickled Peach on Main Street, as I’m a certified fiend for kombucha and nitro cold brew. Recently, I’ve been working at a local lab helping process COVID tests from across the country. I am also currently working on a remote biology research project from my backyard. In my down time, I enjoy biking, playing guitar, cooking, and playing video games when the boys are online.

I am a senior history and PPE (politics, philosophy, and economics) major at Davidson. On campus, I am a member of the Student Government, Honor Council, and President of our Non-Profit Consulting club. In my personal life, I am a die-hard Celtics fan, will read basically any science-fiction in front of me, and love listening to Chance the Rapper and Kyle. On campus, you’re most likely to find me at Nummit drinking as much coffee as they will serve me. I was a proud member of 3rd Belk my First-Year, though I may never recover from losing the flickerball finals. After Davidson, I’m hoping to go to law school and work for a non-profit firm.

I am a rising sophomore and although I have not yet declared my major, I am a potential psychology major with a minor in French and Francophone studies. In my time at Davidson, I found that there are so many different organizations to join. A few that I am involved in are the wonderful Cheerleading team, the BSC or Black Student Coalition and I am a Bonner Scholar. As a Bonner, I volunteer with local non-profit organizations such as the Davidson Preschool or Ada Jenkins. For those interested, please reach out with questions as well as be on the lookout for emails from me about Black History Month events and committees as I am the chairperson for this upcoming year. One of my favorite spots on campus was my first year dorm. I lived on 4th Cannon which was really cool because I had a nice view of campus.
