I am a rising sophomore and intended psychology and Hispanic studies double major from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. My pronouns are she/her/hers. Along with being a welcome event student leader, I am a member of the Jewish Student Union, a committee member of 'Cats for a Cause—where we raise money and awareness for Levine Children’s Hospital—and a member of Buddy Club, which works with children with special needs. Additionally, I am on the logistics committee of Connor Eating House, helping to organize events promoting our nonprofit organization, Bosom Buddies. I am also involved in Spanish in Davidson Elementary Schools (SiDES), where I teach Spanish to elementary school students weekly. Besides academics and extracurriculars, I love being a part of Connor House’s community and my favorite pastime is walking through the beautiful town of Davidson. During my first year at Davidson, I lived on 2nd Watts!

​​I am a rising junior and interdisciplinary philosophy, politics, and economics major and computer science minor from Dallas, Texas. I am so excited to be a welcome event student leader! I am looking forward to meeting the amazing first-year class! This summer, I worked with the Center for Civic Engagement as a community research fellow and participated in a virtual study abroad program at the London School of Economics. On campus, I am involved with the humanities program, the Davidsonian, our student newspaper, Residence Life, and the College Crisis Initiative. I am a passionate sports fan; when I am not studying for a review or writing a paper, you can find me at athletic events cheering for our 'Cats! You can also find me at the Hurt Hub or on Chambers lawn! Go 'Cats!

I am a rising junior religious studies major and an intended digital studies minor from Connecticut. During my time at Davidson, I have had the opportunity to serve on the Union Board, volunteer as a First-Year Orientation team member, and study in the first-year humanities program. Currently, I work with the Admission and Financial Aid Office, am the vice moderator of UKirk, our Presbyterian (USA) campus ministry, and am a member of Warner Hall Eating House. I am so looking forward to welcoming you all to Davidson and am excited for each of you to find your home here on campus!

I am a rising second-year Africana and Hispanic Studies intended double major and my pronouns are she/her/hers. On campus, I am part of the Student Initiative for Academic Diversity (SIAD), a student-led committee that is directly involved with the hiring process of Davidson professors. Our focus is on hiring more faculty of color for tenure. In addition, I am a student representative for the Honor Council. I am a tour guide, part of Club Swimming, The Sustainability Collective, Rusk Eating House, and I teach Spanish at the local elementary school. I am also an e-board member for the Pan-Asian Student Association and a STRIDE Peer Leader for this upcoming year. Finally, I am an intern for the Patio app. During my first year, I lived in Base Belk, which was quite the experience! You can find me in a booth in Libs (the library) at 6 a.m. grinding out my work, wandering around campus vlogging (I have a YouTube channel!) at Vail Commons.

I recently participated in a Davidson leadership program, EMERGE, and many different club sports like volleyball and basketball. This coming school year, I am going to be a consultant at the Hurt Hub.

I am a senior psychology major and an anthropology minor on the pre-law track. This year, I am president of the Davidson Dance Ensemble and of the Davidson Disability Alliance, vice president of Students Against Sexual Violence, and formal chair of Turner Eating House. I am also a resident advisor, voice student, and tour guide! I am most often in the dance studio or studying all around campus, but I also love to walk down to Whit’s for a sweet treat! Welcome to Davidson!

I am a senior biology major and Hispanic studies minor on the pre-medicine track. This year, I will serve as a lead senior admissions fellow and a Spanish apprentice teacher for SPA201. I’m heavily involved with our STRIDE program for students of color and Timmy Global Health, a public health awareness group with an annual medical service trip to the Dominican Republic. I also do biology research to study the rules behind how genes are physically turned off when they are not needed. When I’m not in Wall (our science building), I can be found at cardio dance, hanging out on Chambers lawn, or Whit’s, the local custard shop. I’m so excited to welcome you to campus and I can’t wait to see you all soon!

I am a senior psychology major and an intended history minor. On campus I am a tour guide, a member of Warner Hall Eating House, work for the Fund for Davidson, and am on the club soccer and club lacrosse teams. I have had the pleasure of working in different positions at Davidson every summer since freshman year and love learning about all the different people and aspects of Davidson that make it such an amazing place!

I am a rising sophomore intending to major in global studies through the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. Much of my time is spent on the 4th floor of the College Union whether it’s in the Center for Civic Engagement as a Bonner Scholar, WALT1610 for my weekly radio show, or the Davidsonian office as a Graphics and Layout Designer. When I’m not in Union you can often find me playing spikeball, ultimate frisbee, pick up basketball, or enjoying a spin class. I also helped train service dogs with Continuing the Mission on campus. This summer, I extended my spring semester internship with Charlotte Sister Cities and I am a nonprofit leadership fellow through the Center for Civic Engagement, where I intern remotely with the International House Citizen Diplomacy Program. I’m excited to talk about everything ranging from the Humanities Program to the best potatoes in Commons!

I am a rising senior chemistry major and environmental studies minor originally from Singapore. Aside from my role as a welcome event student leader, I am a hall counselor on 1st Richardson with the Residence Life Office, a student technology consultant with Technology & Innovation, and a senior admissions fellow with Admission and Financial Aid working on programs like our Davidson 360 virtual tour initiative, accepted students virtual Q&A, and the Davidson Admissions Intensive panel. I’m also involved in club swimming, squash, and neuroscience in non-leadership capacities. This summer, I’m primarily working with Prof. Nicole Snyder on developing glyco macromolecules as a means of targeting the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

Currently, I am a Summer Admissions Ambassador with the Admission Office. I am also working with the Davidson Community Foundation, a non-profit organization located in Davidson.
