All participants should understand the dynamics of traveling as a group and anticipate the minor mishaps that can occur, particularly with international adventures. Below is valuable information you should know before you leave on your next alumni trip.
We have selected experienced tour operators and, for most trips, a Davidson faculty member or college representative will accompany the group. The focus of both our professional travel operators and the college representatives will be the welfare of the group; therefore, the group's needs will necessarily outweigh any conflicting individual needs. Please note that some trips may not consist exclusively of Davidson travelers.
Reservations will be honored upon receipt on a first-come, first-served basis. By submitting your deposit you acknowledge your acceptance of the terms of the destination package.
Information contained in travel brochures is based on the best information available at the time our tour operators offered their packages. However, all dates, schedules, accommodations and costs are subject to change. All prices are based upon double occupancy. Single occupancy is available on some trips at a supplementary rate. There may also be single travelers available to share accommodations.
Most trips include the price of airfare to and from a single destination. Each traveler will bear the additional costs of getting to and from the departure point. Trip cost includes most in-country meals (this is detailed in each individual trip brochure), lodging, medical insurance, in-country transportation, international flight from single departure point, and an expert local support team.
Cancellations and Refunds
Each tour has its own cancellation policy regarding refunds and trip cancellations. Please review it carefully. Each tour operator offers trip cancellation insurance, which we strongly recommend. We reserve the right to cancel trips that fail to meet minimum reservation requirements, in which case we will provide a full refund of all payments.
