The Class of 1999 has set an overall reunion class gift goal of $300,000 and a class giving participation goal of 55 percent. We have also begun efforts to establish an endowed, need-based scholarship in honor of the Class of 1999. What is even more exciting is that an anonymous donor has pledged to match the next $50,000 we raise. The scholarship has both an endowed portion and an expendable portion. The expendable portion enables our class to award an incoming freshman this fall with our class scholarship and once our first recipient graduates the earnings from the endowed portion of the scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity. Please consider making a commitment for the next five years to coincide with our 20th Reunion, whether to the Class of 1999 Scholarship or to an area of campus that is most meaningful to you. We hope as many classmates as possible take part in helping achieve these goals in honor of our special 20th reunion year.
