Class of 1977
Registration for Reunion Weekend 2022 is now closed! For changes, cancellations or to register by phone call (704) 894-2040.
Reunion Weekend officially begins at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon and continues through Noon on Sunday. Visit our Class of 1977 Reunion Weekend Schedule to get an idea of what you won't want to miss.
A note about the class dinner: The 45th Reunion dinner will be set up reception style! You will explore various food stations while you visit with classmates and guests. Selections that meet specific dietary guidelines will be labeled as such, so you can make the best choices for your meal. We hope you enjoy the atmosphere of this party-style dinner event. If you have specific questions about the ingredients in the offerings, guests are encouraged to ask the catering staff at the event.

Connect with Classmates
If you are on Facebook, join the Davidson College Class of 1977 group to communicate with classmates as we gear up for the celebration.
Also be sure to join the Class of 1977 group in Davidson Connect, a networking portal launched in May 2020. This resource is designed to connect our community by bringing together multiple platforms into one hub where students and alumni around the world can connect. Sign into the system to find an alumni mentor, view jobs and internships, build relationships with others who share your same identities or areas of interest, and connect with fellow students and alumni in your industry.
Send Us Your Photos
Be sure to look through your files and send us both old and current photos. Photos may be used for a slideshow or for Reunion promotion on social media. Make sure to label all photos with the name you used while at Davidson. Classmates have two options for submitting photos:
Mail originals- Attention: Bill Burkholder, 3863 Waterview Road, High Point, NC 27265
A note from Bill Burkholder re physical photos: I prefer to work from original slides, prints, and negatives, if they are from before 2005 or so. I have a professional grade digitizing setup that yields high resolution images tailored to video panning and zooming. If people have physical media and are willing to ship them to me, I will ship them back to their owners, along with digitized copies of any that get used.
Submit your photos by uploading them to this Google Drive Folder (a Google account is not required).
A note from Bill Burkholder re digital photos: Newer images from digital cameras and smartphones work best as original, unedited, high resolution files (at least 3000x2000 pixels). The larger the files, the better. JPEG file size has no exact correlation to image size in pixels. Also, “dpi” and “PPI” have no important meaning in video. Only pixel dimensions count. The more there are, the more I can zoom into or pan across the image. I’ll adjust them within the limits of what is there, for best contrast, color, brightness, and horizon lines.
The Class of 1977 has set an overall reunion class gift of $1,000,000 and a class giving participation goal of 70 percent. We hope as many classmates as possible take part in helping achieve these goals in honor of our special 45th reunion year.
Have questions about reunion giving? Please visit the Reunion Giving page for more information.
Ready to make a gift today? Please visit our online gift form.
All gifts and multi-year commitments made during the reunion year, which ends on June 30, 2022, count towards the class gift.
