Game Changers Panel

This new interactive program features a few Davidson College Game Changers. Hear from just a few of the incredible alumni highlighted during the current Game Changers: Inspiring Leaders to Transform the World campaign. Our panelists are: 

  • Anthony Foxx '93, former Mayor of Charlotte and former U.S. Secretary of Transportation
  • Kathy Bray '85, former Associate Dean of Student Life at Davidson College
  • Lowell Bryan '68, Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Co. and President of the Touch Foundation

Members of the Avant Garde (those celebrating their 55th Reunion and beyond) are encouraged to check-in prior to attending any activities.  

Academic Building Visits
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Take a walk down memory lane by visiting several academic buildings. Chambers Building, E. Craig Wall Jr. Academic Center, E.H. Little Library, Cunningham Theatre Center, Watson Life Sciences (Baker-Watt Science Complex), and Sloan Music Center (formerly the Student Union and library) will be open to explore. Please note that some of the classrooms will be locked due to set up for academic summer camps or safety rules. 

Remembrance Ceremony at War Memorials

WDAV Radio Station (423 N. Main Street, Davidson)
Classmates are welcome to join for an inside look at the WDAV station. This tour will include a history of the studio as you visit the Music Library, Edit Suites, the John Clark Performance Studio and the Wilton and Catherine Connor Broadcast Studio.

A Conversation with President Carol Quillen

Join us as we make flashcards for students experiencing homelessness and poverty in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. It only takes a few minutes to make a set of number, alphabet or shape flashcards and support a child pursuing their education. All ages invited to help! Partnered with Classroom Central.
