Personal Statement
We’ve all been there. That moment when your Davidson shirt leads someone to ask about the Wildcats. My Davidson coffee mug regularly serves as that conversation starter. I love the instant connection that being a Wildcat brings. We are a tight collegiate family whose impact extends far beyond our time on campus, but Davidson also resonates with those who have only a faint connection to our school. As alumni, we are brand ambassadors every day to the importance of the liberal arts. Representing alma mater is both a gift and a responsibility I treasure.
My love of learning that bloomed at Davidson helps me be a better husband, father, and professional. It makes me a more open-minded citizen of the world, which is something I intentionally talk about with my children. Davidson taught me how to think critically and how to write, even in a financial profession that requires technical expertise. My years at Davidson were transformative in encouraging me to seek meaningful roles for volunteerism and service and provided lifelong relationships within our robust alumni network. I am honored to be considered for this role and would be humbled to represent you as we lead the way for current and future Wildcat generations.
