Apogee Info Session

Interested students should apply via Handshake here, by November 5th to be considered for on-campus interviews on November 13th. Outdoor Adventure Trip Leaders- Outdoor Adventure Office Internship- About Apogee: Apogee Adventures offers hiking, biking, and community service trips for teenagers 11-18 in the summer. Apogee is looking for responsible, enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated leaders to lead trips in New England, Montana, Oregon, California, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Europe. Trip leader pairs (always one male, one female) are responsible for the safety and well-being of up to 12 students in an outdoor adventure and travel setting. Leaders must serve as excellent role models as they foster teamwork and a healthy, nurturing group dynamic. They must create an atmosphere that is safe and welcoming, and bring out the best in each student. If this could be you, come learn more! Leader Qualifications: · Age 20 or older by June 2019 · Highly responsible, motivated, adaptable and hard working · Prior positive leadership experience · Prior positive experience working with young people · Eager to work and live simply and responsibly in the outdoors · Fit and healthy · Fun, positive, adventurous, and an outstanding role model · Minimum Certification Requirements: will depend on trip and may be obtained post-hiring - CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid/Responder Be sure to stop by their information table before the information session from 2-4pm in the Atrium in the Union.
