In our continuing efforts to implement the best technologies for Davidson in partnership with faculty, staff and students, ITS is pleased to offer the campus a sophisticated yet easy-to-use web-based survey tool called Qualtrics. The tool is supported by Qualtrics and we invite you to start building your surveys using this software. Our implementation of Qualtrics is "software as a service," meaning the application, training, and support are all hosted in the cloud.
Leveraging our new identity management partnership and affiliation with InCommon, we are able to provide access to everyone using existing Davidson credentials without the need for a separate account. Simply visit Qualtrics online, click to sign in using your Davidson credentials, set up your account, and begin creating surveys. Qualtrics offers tutorials and online training. Qualtrics will be replacing Checkbox which some of you have been using for campus surveys. We will provide assistance to anyone needing to preserve the data from past surveys before we turn off the service in the fall of 2014. All Checkbox users will be notified by the helpdesk of the next steps in the process in the near future.
