Chorale's Winter Tour Includes the National Cathedral

After an incredible tour to Ireland last winter, the Davidson College Chorale hits the road again this Winter Break, traveling up the eastern seaboard. The group will perform in a number of cities and members will stay with alumni and friends of the college.

As a major highlight, the Chorale has the honor of performing in the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The ensemble also will sing in Bruton Parish Church in Historic Williamsburg, Va. and the world's largest cathedral, St. John the Divine, in New York City. Members will then take part in a choral workshop at Temple University in Philadelphia and will perform at three high schools. The group's complete schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, Jan. 3: Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, Va. (8 p.m)
  • Sunday, Jan. 4: National Cathedral, Washington, D.C. (3:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, Jan. 6: Moravian Academy, Bethlehem, Pa. (11:05 a.m.)
  • Tuesday, Jan. 6: Church of St. Joseph, Bronxville, N.Y. (7:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, Jan. 7: St. John the Divine, New York, N.Y. (11:30 a.m.)
