Caroline Woodward '12

Congratulations to Caroline Woodward, Russian Language and Literature major from the Class of 2012! After serving as the Dean Rusk fellow for 2013-2014, Caroline recently accepted a position as a Europe and Eurasia research assistant at McLarty Associates, an international strategic advisory firm in Washington, D.C.

Prof. Amanda Ewington Publishes New Book on Russian Women Poets

Amanda Ewington, associate professor and chair of the Russian Studies Department, recently published her book Russian Women Poets of the Eighteenth and Early Nineteenth Centuries: A Bilingual Edition for the series The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe.  The volume represents the culmination of many years translating and researching 17 poets who had previously been overlooked, even in Russia.

Nine Davidson Faculty to Travel to Russia May 19-June 2

Associate Professor Amanda Ewington and Visiting Assistant Professor Irina Erman will lead faculty colleagues on a two-week Studio R seminar trip to Russia, May 19-June 2.
