July Experience students will live in a single-sex residence hall on campus.

Through the duration of the program, you will have the support of administrative staff, a resident director, and counselor/mentors.

Counselor/mentors are current Davidson College students who live in the residence halls. Each counselor/mentor is assigned a hall group and leads the hall in nightly meetings, fosters a sense of community and is available to assist students both academically and socially for the duration of the program. The resident director is a college graduate with experience working with high school and college students in a leadership role. This individual lives in the residence hall and serves as a resource for both counselor/mentors and July Experience students, as well as providing daily recreational programming for students.

All meals during the program are covered in the cost of tuition, although students may want to bring money to purchase snacks. Students and staff will eat their meals together in the Vail Commons dining facility. Meals are designed to be a time of building community and making connections with staff members and students. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions prior to you arriving on campus and our staff will work with you diligently to accommodate you.

Students have access to the E.H. Little Library during the day to study, and the Alvarez College Union for recreational and group activities. Students will also have access to Davidson's outdoor tennis and basketball courts. Throughout the duration of the program, students will have the opportunity to utilize various areas on Davidson's campus.
