Fuji Lozada

Principal duties of the associate dean of faculty include:

  • Administering and guiding the development of the Crosland Center for Teaching and Learning, which provides faculty development services and academic support for students
  • Collaborating with other campus entities (Library, Information Technology, Center for Civic Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion) to provide a range of programs for faculty and students
  • Working with the Assistant Dean for Research and Creative Work in directing the Davidson Research Initiative and other college-funded faculty and student research projects
  • Monitoring the work of the Director of the Office of Grants and Contracts and the Director of the Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement
  • Seeking funds for new and existing programs to support faculty development and student depth opportunities
  • Working with the Director of Academic Assessment to insure that teaching, learning, and research programs in Academic Affairs meet their specific program goals
  • Running New Faculty Orientation and other faculty programs in Academic Affairs
