Emergency Equipment Inspection (PDF)
Provides guidelines on how to maximize safety and emergency preparedness.
In the event of a fire, or other emergency that requires efficient exiting of a building, it is imperative that safety equipment and exit/emergency lighting are fully operational. Routine inspections of emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, exit signs, and emergency lights are conducted on a regular basis, in accordance with the Emergency Equipment Inspection Policy. This policy ensures compliance with the standards established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
