Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition

The total cost of July Experience 2019 is $4,000.

Tuition covers the following areas:

  • Room and board (all meals and self-service laundry)
  • Textbook(s) for use during the duration of the program
  • Scheduled activity costs/fees

Tuition does not include travel expenses and personal spending money.

Scholarships & Financial Aid 

Davidson College is committed to access and affordability. Scholarships and financial aid are available to students with financial need. A limited amount of aid is available and is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and need. The July Experience program is not funded by the Davidson Trust. Therefore, we cannot commit to meeting 100 percent of  need for each student for this program.

How To Apply

To apply for financial aid, please complete the form in its entirety (link below). The financial aid application and all supporting documents are needed to apply for financial aid along with your application for admission. All required documents must be submitted on time for your application to be considered. It is strongly recommended that students applying for financial aid complete their application for admission and financial aid application by the priority deadline (March 1st). 

Required Documents:

  • July Experience Financial Aid Application (online) (pdf)
  • A signed copy of parent/guardian completed 2017 federal tax return(s) (1040 or 1040A, not 8453) showing adjusted gross income. This must be a copy of the originals sent to the IRS. 
  • In the case of disability, please send a copy of Form SSA-1099.
  • A signed copy of the student's completed 2017 federal tax form, if applicable.
  • International students: For verification of income, we will accept tax forms from your country or an employment letter indicating your parent's annual or monthly salary.
