Alberto Hernandez-Chiroldes Professor of Hispanic Studies Emeritus

I arrived in Davidson in 1979. I taught almost every course in the Hispanic Studies Department. My fields of research are Latin American literature and culture. I also taught seminars on creative writing. I retired in 2010. Currently, I enjoy writing short stories and reading history books.
