Charlene Kilpatrick Associate Director of Residence Life

As the Associate Director of Residence Life, I assist in the leadership of the Residence Life program primarily through the direct supervision of four full-time, live-in master’s level professional staff, the indirect supervision of 70 student staff members, and the management of the department’s residential education. Additionally, I work with different campus partners regarding the support and development of our residential community.

More About Me

I am proud alumna of Virginia State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and my Master of Education in School Counseling. Throughout my career in higher education, I have gained experience in student conduct, crisis management, facilities management, academic advising, fraternity & sorority advisement, and first year experience instruction. As I continue my adventure in Higher Education, I aim to provide support to the students and the campus communities I engage with.
