Background

I came to Davidson in 2021 after a postdoctoral fellowship in the Center for Political Studies at the University of Michigan. I received my B.A. in history and political science from the College of Charleston and my Ph.D. in political science from the University of Georgia.

My research and teaching interests broadly include American politics and data science, with specific interests in legislative and executive politics, congressional electoral politics, representation and quantitative methods.
