My career at Davidson College includes working in the Development Office of College Relations and Academic Affairs, where I currently work, supporting the English Department, Digital Studies and the Literary Calendar.
I am responsible for providing administrative support to department faculty in a very broad range of responsibilities from teaching and classroom support to planning and management of guest speakers, event planning, advertising, calendaring, and travel. I manage the departmental budgets, expenditures and reporting. Another exciting part of my job is the management of our student work assistants to whom I delegate tasks that help broaden their learning experience and ready them for the work force after graduation.
Prior to Davidson, I was a legal administrative assistant for Bank of America and private law firms for 15 years. My extra-curricular passions have been in helping church and other non-profit organizations involving children locally and internationally, exercise, movies and animals.
