I joined the Davidson College community in 2008 as an incoming freshman. In 2013 I went to Tampa, Florida to pursue theatre. While in Tampa, I worked as a freelance scenic and lighting designer for multiple theatre companies, including Jobsite Theater, MAD Theatre of Tampa, Hat Trick Theatre, The Acting Studio of Tampa and Patel Conservatory. I also worked in the theatre department at Patel Conservatory as their production coordinator and managed the shop and summer apprentice program, and I taught scenic painting at Tampa Preparatory School.
In fall of 2015, I came back to Davidson to finish up my last semester as a student. After receiving my degree, I began to design lights for Davidson College productions and served as the house manager for the Barber Theatre before taking on my role as assistant technical director.
I also work at Wine and Design in Cornelius, where I teach painting.
