Typical Day at the Library

A "typical" day includes meeting with the Collections Strategies team, collaborating across teams on special projects (e.g. implementing new systems like Leganto), gathering and reviewing data about the use of collections, and guiding the Collections Strategies team through collection development decisions and processes. Some days include troubleshooting resource access problems, reviewing and revising collections-related policies, partnering with library staff to reenvision the ways in which we support students and faculty through library collections, providing input into collections-related budget planning, and exploring ways to build affordable and sustainable collections.
