Mel Zweifel Program Coordinator for Dean Rusk International Studies & Education Abroad

I joined the staff at Davidson College in 2018, as an Operations Specialist in Admission and Financial Aid. In 2021, I accepted my new role as the Program Coordinator for the Dean Rusk International Studies Program. In this role, I primarily assist the Dean Rusk Director with managing the program’s grant funds and operating budget. I support the program’s initiatives in matching students with funding opportunities to travel, study, and perform research abroad. In addition, I provide administrative support and work closely with the Office of Education Abroad. Prior to coming on board at Davidson, I worked as a Financial Specialist in Business Services for the University of Wisconsin – Rock County for 8 years. I provided administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Business Administration and Finance and helped manage student accounts, departmental budgets, and billing.
