I am a molecular biologist with an interest in DNA replication, repair and sister chromatid cohesion. These intertwined processes play critical roles in our development and homeostasis. Dysregulation of any of these processes can promote the formation of cancer. While I do not have an active lab at Davidson I work with collaborators working to better understand these pathways in hopes of finding new chemotherapeutic targets. I teach Integrated Concepts of Biology I (BIO113) with the aim of leaving students more scientifically literate and able to critically assess scientific data.
