I provide campus and community-wide direction and supervision for major programs and activities in the areas of civic engagement and leadership, including work with faculty on community-based learning. I also work on Title IX complaint resolution for students, and division-wide learning outcome assessments.

I train and supervise 18 college advisers in 19 high schools in rural North Carolina, and coordinate efforts with the national College Advising Corps office in Chapel Hill, N.C.

In addition to directing the Freedom Schools program, I coordinate campus-wide events and programs in the center including a semi-annual granting program and collaborative programs across the division that focus on the intersection of civic engagement and social justice.
