"Walk About It""

Walk About It" is an eight-week, semi-structured outreach/group initiative. It is open to any student who would like to join others and engage in an experience of walking and talking about different topics related to mental health and coping. Research has indicated that the simple act of moving is effective in elevating one's mood and reducing symptoms of various mental health concerns. This group is for any student who is a member of the Davidson College community and desires to find connection, community and commonality with others. You do not need to be a client to be a part of this group. Just come, join us and be a part of a "movement" where we don't just talk about it, we walk about it.

When: Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. beginning September 12.

Where: Entrance of the cross-country trail (near satellite parking)

Facilitated by: Trish Murray, Ph.D. and intermittent guest appearances by various staff.
