Symphony Orchestra

The Davidson College Symphony Orchestra (DCSO) presents an invigorating season of pops and timeless classics. In the fall, the riveting string trio Time for Three joins the orchestra for a diverse and eclectic performance as part of the Artist Series. Come spring, alumna Caitlin Mohr returns to Davidson to delight audiences with her captivating soprano voice. To close the season, the DCSO performs West Side Story Symphonic Dances in celebration of Bernstein's 100th birthday. The DCSO is also in its ninth season of Concerts for a Cause in which donations are accepted at the door for various charitable organizations. Bernstein Birthday Bash

Celebrate the 100th birthday of one of America's most beloved musical artists, Leonard Bernstein. In addition to charismatic works that pay homage to Bernstein's inspirations, the DCSO will perform music from Candide and West Side Story.
