Summit Coffee, a local favorite in downtown Davidson, expanded onto the Davidson College campus with a coffee shop, restaurant, and pub in the fall of 2013.

The pub/coffeehouse includes a full commercial kitchen, outdoor patio seating, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking Patterson Court. The space is designed to be a place for students to socialize and study.

Summit offers a variety of beverages from coffee, teas, and smoothies to canned and draft beverages including beer, kombucha, and La Croix. You can pair your drink with some staples off their food menu including pastries, toasts, bagels, and granola. You can even find them serving up some other food offerings to hold you over more - so be sure to ask once you're there!

Summit was originally owned and operated by brothers and Davidson graduates Tim Helfrich '00 and Brian Helfrich '07. Today, the space is entirely student-run and managed.

Visit Summit's website for more information about Summit Coffee Outpost.
