The following list of publications accept nominations or submissions of research papers by undergraduate students.

Columbia Undergraduate Journal of History

The Columbia Undergraduate Journal of History accepts nominations/submissions by professors of outstanding research papers produced by undergraduate students.

Foundations, John Hopkins University

Dedicated to publishing undergraduate research, Foundations allows students to submit unpublished papers with a historical theme (includes Anthropology, Art History, Classics, Economics, Political Science) year round. Submissions must have been written while pursuing an undergraduate degree, but papers written as an undergraduate may be submitted until two years past the month of graduation.

History Matters, Appalachian State University

This undergraduate History Matters history journal is published annually on a website by the History Department at Appalachian State University. The journal is edited by undergraduates with the help of a faculty board. All submissions and editing must be completed while authors are still undergraduates. 

Journal of Undergraduate International Studies, University of Wisconsin

The Journal of Undergraduate International Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites unpublished reflections on a wide range of academic and creative disciplines from contributors worldwide. Submitting authors should be within one semester of graduation. Topics include, but are not limited to, international conflict and resolution environmental issues, economics, development and trade, global security and international health.

The Yale Historical Review

The Yale Historical Review provides undergraduates an opportunity to have their exceptional work highlighted and encourages the diffusion of original historical ideas on campus by providing a forum for outstanding undergraduate history papers covering any historical topic. Students may submit history papers they've written over the course of their college careers. 

Report, The West Point Undergraduate Historical Review

The West Point Undergraduate Historical Review, is a historical journal that publishes the original work of undergraduate students from around the world in order to encourage the study of history. The papers are reviewed and selected by a staff of West Point cadets and History department faculty. Interested students may submit their papers to WestPointREPORT@gmail.com.

Davidson History Journal

In 2017, several Davidson students founded Davidson History Journal, an online publication sponsored by Davidson’s History Department, and written, edited, and published by Davidson students. The journal seeks to provide an outlet for history-related content created by Davidson students and to share these accomplishments with a wider audience. Here, students are able to publish research projects developed in their courses. One special issue of the DHJ offered a multimedia focus on historical memory, including student work on memory from various academic disciplines and featuring work from the course HIS 301: Making History which involved a study trip to London.
