Background

After completing my Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, I joined the Mathematics Department in 1992. My wide-ranging mathematical interests include differential equations, dynamical systems, mathematical modeling, and topology, including applications in biology and neuroscience. I regularly teach in Davidson's July Experience program for high school students and was the faculty leader for Davidson's summer program in Ghana in 2006.
