The Digitome 3-D imagine system being marketed by students and faculty in Davidson's physics department has many uses in various fields. Its most noteworthy to date, as covered in the Charlotte Observer's SciTech section, is helping provide a clear view of "booty" that went down off the North Carolina coast with Blackbeard's ship, The Queen Anne's Revenge, in 1718.
