Academic Access & Disability Resources

The Academic Access and Disability Resources Office (AADR) serves all students who seek academic support, disability services, and inclusion in our Davidson community.

The AADR Office is part of the Student Life Division and collaborates with the John Crosland, Jr. Center for Teaching and Learning by performing two functions. First, we provide academic support to students through individual coaching, workshops, and small-group work, enabling them to master effective academic strategies and best utilize available resources.

Second, we also support students with disabilities and work with other offices and departments across the campus to provide equal access to the college's services, programs, and activities so students may, as independently as possible, meet the demands of college life.

An emerging functional area of AADR is to engage the campus community in diversity, equity, and inclusion work as it relates to students’ disability identities. We provide programming and support initiatives throughout the year related to this topic and individual support to students as needed.

AADR staff offices are physically located in the E.H. Little Library in the John Crosland, Jr. Center for Teaching and Learning.
