How to Spend Spare Afternoon in Charlotte Area: Best part of Charlotte are the museums! I like to take the light rail in and visit the Mint Museum-Uptown, the Levine New Museum of the South, and/or the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. Followed up with a stop at 7th Street Station for light supper or snack.
