I serve a dual role in working with AADR by providing administrative support to our office while working directly with students and introducing them to assistive technology resources. I appreciate that both aspects of my position uniquely allow me to engage and support students in their academic journey. Another way that my current role allows me to serve students is as the advisor for the student-led organization on campus called Davidson Disability Alliance (DDA). I also oversee the note-taker program and work closely with faculty and staff across campus to provide alternate formats and captioning requests for students. Overall, I enjoy building relationships with students and connecting them with valuable resources to promote their educational learning experiences.
