Background

My research interest is in socio-ecological vulnerability; I apply a mix of methods to determine factors that increase exposure and sensitivity to climate change, or affect the adaptive capacity of communities.

My field is interdisciplinary, and so I often work with Ecologists, Geographers, Economists, Data scientists, Hydrologists, Sociologists, among many others.

As a teacher, I want my students to be open-minded and to actively engage in the learning process.
