Application Process

Twenty incoming first-year students are selected each year to become Bonner Scholars, working to establish an appreciation of both local and global needs through consistent engagement with a wide variety of community partners.

As an incoming student, you are eligible to apply for the Bonner Scholars Program if you demonstrate financial need as evidenced by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service's PROFILE application. You still are eligible for a Bonner scholarship even if you receive other scholarship money.

Generally students must be entering as first-year students but sophomores also may be eligible if spots are available. Athletes and students immersed in theatre or music are welcome to apply. Email bonnerscholars@davidson.edu if you are concerned about the time constraints.
