Rupert T. Barber Scholarship

For more than 40 years, Dr. Rupert Barber was synonymous with theatre at Davidson. Beginning with the Class of 2018, this scholarship will be awarded in his honor every four years, helping to ensure our tradition of quality theatre remains constant. The Barber Scholarship will be available next to the Class of 2022.

If you demonstrate exceptional talent and passion for theatre, you could be awarded the Rupert T. Barber, Jr. Scholarship. This award is renewable for your remaining three years at Davidson providing you maintain a minimum GPA, progress toward degree requirements are met, and you remain actively engaged in theatre. Recipients are not required to declare a Theatre major.
