Davidson will host its annual fall Multicultural Visitation Program (MVP) on November 1-3, 2015. Davidson's MVP is designed to provide students from traditionally under-represented groups, including College Access affiliated students--the opportunity to visit campus. Due to the brevity of the visit, students living outside of the United States are not eligible for consideration. Only students who have not been on an official visit may be selected for the program.
Selected students will arrive Sunday afternoon and stay on campus with a current Davidson student for two nights. Visiting students will attend classes and should plan to return home Tuesday afternoon. Davidson will cover the direct expenses associated with a visit to campus for each participant. This includes airfare to/from the student's home airport, ground transportation in Charlotte to/from campus, meals during the visit, and overnight accommodations.
To apply for the program, students must complete the following steps:
The deadline for application submission is Friday, Sept. 18. The Admission Team will review submitted applications and notify students if additional information is required. Decisions will be communicated no later than Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Please know that space is limited. If a student accepts our invitation to visit and then cancels after air travel tickets have been purchased, the student and their family will be responsible for reimbursing the cost of the ticket.
