Davidson will host its annual fall Multicultural Visitation Program (MVP) Oct. 15-17, 2017. Davidson's MVP is a program for high school seniors, designed to provide students from traditionally under-represented groups, including College Access affiliated students, the opportunity to visit campus. Due to the brevity of the visit, students living outside of the United States are not eligible for consideration. Only students who have not been on an official visit may be selected for the program.
If selected, you will arrive Sunday afternoon and stay on campus with a current Davidson student for two nights. You will attend classes and should plan to return home Tuesday afternoon. Davidson will cover the direct expenses associated with your visit to campus. This includes airfare to/from your home airport, ground transportation in Charlotte to/from campus, meals during the visit, and overnight accommodations.
To apply for the program, students must complete the following steps:
The priority deadline for application submission is Monday, August 28; the final deadline is Monday, September 11. While the Admission Committee will review and consider all applications received by the final deadline, they will begin reviewing and inviting students to attend on a rolling basis following the priority deadline. The Admission Committee will notify students if additional information is required. Decisions will be communicated no later than Monday, September 25.
Please know that space is limited. If a student accepts our invitation to visit and then cancels after air travel tickets have been purchased, the student and their family will be responsible for reimbursing the cost of the ticket.
Please contact Stacey Cook at email@example.com for additional information. We look forward to working with you.
