External Funding
Explore external funding opportunities to support new or continuing research, creative works, upcoming sabbatical leaves, curriculum development, workshops, equipment, creative works and travel.
Internal Funding

Charles N. Williamson Endowment
The Charles N. Williamson Endowment supports curricular and co-curricular projects and programs that promote understanding of gay and lesbian issues.
Clark Ross Academic Innovation Fund
Supports faculty/student research and curriculum development that leads to new methods of teaching and research or to the production of new knowledge.
DACE Arts Across the Curriculum Enrichment Fund
This faculty fund supports creative endeavors that seek either to enrich the classroom experience by integrating the work of visiting artists or to enhance the student experience through travel to museums, theatre performances, literary talks, etc.
Dean Rusk International Research Collaborative
Supports international travel and expenses for a Davidson faculty member traveling with a small group of students for research, methodological training, or comparative creative arts experience.
Dean Rusk International Studies Program Faculty Travel Grant
Grants are available to conduct international research or creative projects.
Group Investigations
Provides funding for off-campus trips that support the learning objectives of a course or that provide a learning opportunity that enhances the undergraduate experience.
John Crosland Jr. Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL)
The CTL provides funds to enhance faculty/staff teaching methods and student learning experiences.
Professional Meeting Travel Fund
The college provides supplemental travel funds for full-time faculty on a reimbursement basis.
Robert C. Whitton Mentoring Fund
Supports events or projects that promise cooperation and collaboration between students and faculty or staff members.
Salzburg Global Seminar Fellowship
Supports one faculty member each year to participate in a Salzburg Global Seminar.
