Archeology Series Presentation

Reports from the Field: Students: Lillian Alvey, Maggie Matuszak, Milo Whitley (Cosa), Reece David (Morgantina). 

We plan to host another of our wildly popular sessions with reports from local college students who worked in the field over the summer. At least four returning Davidson students will be working on archaeological excavations in 2026, and colleagues from UNC Charlotte and Winthrop plan to take students into the field as well. We had a standing-room only audience for last year’s session, a great opportunity for students to practice public speaking and for Davidson students to learn about what life on a dig is really like.
