You may have caught wind of our brass players last fall as they rehearsed outside of our Sloan Music Center! This video performance features several of our DCSO brass musicians as they perform arrangements of music by Johannes Brahms and Scott Joplin. Our extremely talented principal trumpet, music scholarship student, and past concerto competition winner, Max Rollfinke, will be graduating next week. Stay tuned for his recorded performance of Copland’s Quiet City with our graduating principal oboist, Claire Brantley, and our DCSO strings later this summer!

The virtual concert will premiere on the Facebook and YouTube pages of the Davidson College Music Department.
