3–5:30 p.m. Interactive Astronomy Fair - Chambers Lawn5:30–6:30 p.m. Public Lecture - Tyler-Tallman Hall6:30–8:00 p.m. Stargazing - Chambers Lawn Come explore the wonders of astronomy and the night sky with your family and friends by joining us for the Davidson Space Day! As always, our events are FREE and open to the public!The event will begin with interactive Astronomy Fair on the Chambers Lawn from 3–5:30 p.m. The exhibits will be followed by a public lecture in the Tyler Tallman Recital Hall, 5:30–6:30 p.m., and nighttime stargazing on the Chambers Lawn from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Feel free to stay for the entire event or spend just a short time exploring the exhibits or taking a tour of the night sky. A campus map and directions to each of these locations is below. All events will be held on the campus of Davidson College. While friendly, leashed dogs are welcome on campus, we ask that you refrain from bringing your furry friend to our event. For visitors, on-campus parking is available in Baker Sports Complex off Baker Drive. Other public parking may be available on Main Street or Concord Road. Parking areas are labeled on the College's campus map. In the case of inclement weather, the exhibits and activities will be moved indoors to the 1st floor of the Watson Life Science Building.
