The Dean Rusk International Studies Program is pleased to present it’s first speaker of the spring semester, Professor Caitlin Andrews-Lee.This lecture will discuss the background that led to the current state of affairs in Venezuela and touch on the current situation.
Andrews-Lee is the author of The Emergence and Revival of Charismatic Movements: Argentine Peronism and Venezuelan Chavismo, which garnered the 2022 Leon Epstein Award from the American Political Science Association. She is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
