Dean Rusk Lecture: Iran in Revolt

The Dean Rusk International Studies Program is sponsoring a lecture on Iran. Charles Kurzman, Philip Stadter Distinguished Professor of Sociology at UNC-Chapel Hill, will deliver a talk entitled “Iran in Revolt." Kurzman’s talk will address the remarkable civilian protest and government reprisal of recent months.  He draws on decades of expertise on the Middle East and Iran, including authoring the book The Unthinkable Revolution in Iran (Harvard University Press). This event is free and open to the public.
