Dean Rusk Lecture: The Middle East and North Africa: Development Challenges and Opportunities
David Bruns is the Acting Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) for the Middle East Bureau overseeing development assistance to Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. He is a career member of USAID's Senior Foreign Service, and has served tours in Uganda, Jordan, Mali, Afghanistan, Tanzania and Senegal. Prior to joining USAID, he was an economist at the World Bank for ten years. Mr. Bruns has a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree (English major) from Davidson College. Event is FREE and open to the public!
