Martin Miller public lecture

Prof. Martin Miller, (Duke University) will speak on “Militants and the Police: Entangled Terrorisms in 19th-Century Russia”

Free and open to the public.

Martin Miller received his Ph.D. in Russian history at the University of Chicago and has taught at Stanford University and the New School for Social Research. 

During his visit to Davidson he will visit the course "Russia and the West" and give a plenary lecture in the Humanities Program:  “Dostoevsky’s Demons: A Writer’s Journey from Radicalism to Conservatism”

Prof. Miller's visit is sponsored by the Humanities Program's Cox Endowment and the Russian Studies Department.
