Slavery, Violence, and the Archive - Panel II

The Africana Studies Department presents: Slavery, Violence and The Archive, a two-day conference taking place Feb. 22-23. The event is sponsored by the Davidson College Commission on Race and Slavery.

Panel II on Saturday features: John W. Franklin "Engaging the International Museum Community with the Smithsonian's NMAAHC," Mari Crabtree "Ghosts, Haunting, and the Traumatic Afterlife of Lynching," and Hillary N. Green "Slavery and the University of Alabama."  

The conference is free and open to the public. Please register by February 14 to attend. Registration is required to receive lunch on Saturday. For more information, please contact Professor Garry Bertholf at gabertholf@davidson.edu.
