Ring in the spring with competing depictions of the divine and the profane.  Guest pianist Mari Kawamura joins Davidson’s William Fried for performances of two twentieth century classics: Stravinsky’s transgressive, riot-inducing The Rite of Spring, now in a lean, new arrangement; and Messiaen’s heavenly Visions de l’amen, originally composed and premiered in WWII occupied Paris.
